A Service Oriented Geoscience

To support decision making calls for shifting from a ?traditional? data centric approach to a more advanced service-based solution for Earth System Science information. Advanced cyber(e)-infrastructures can support the formation and operation of distributed, multidisciplinary collaborative teams.
The present session will discuss recent and valuable achievements and initiative to build a "Service Oriented Geoscience" based on a REST approach.
